Does Eutepio work without internet?

Yes. Your library, setlists and band sync all work without internet. You only need a connection to search for songs on the web and to import from a web address.

What happens when the bandleader disconnects?

The app notifies you and you continue locally — you lose neither data nor the song you were on. Your device then keeps trying to reconnect. The leader can nominate a backup member in advance, and that member is offered the role when the leader drops out. A person has to accept it; nothing switches over on its own.

How do I get the whole programme to my band?

You send the concert as a single file — it holds the setlist, the songs and the attachments you pick: PDFs, sheets, photos and optionally backing tracks. The recipient previews the bundle, picks a library and decides what to add. Personal notes and drawings are not sent, and the file is not encrypted, so send it by a route you trust.

Which platforms do you support?

Eutepio is in beta for Android 7.0+ and for iOS 15.5+ — that means iPhone and iPad — and for Windows 10/11. Testing is open on all three: Android through Google Play, iPhone and iPad through TestFlight, and Windows as an installer to download. You install it yourself, no invitation needed.

Which import/export formats do you support?

Export: ChordPro, PDF and a full library backup. Import: ChordPro (individually or in a ZIP), SongBook Pro backups, text files from your computer with encoding detection, OCR from a photo, and searching the web directly — the app has a built-in browser for 8 songbooks, Ultimate Guitar among them, plus a general search. Songbeamer, OpenSong and Planning Center imports are not supported.

Eutepio is made by one musician in the evenings — out of the need for a clear songbook and band sync that does not depend on the internet.

It is a small, early project. The app works, keeps moving, and the order of work is set by what bands report.

The name comes from the Greek muse of music, Euterpe — the one who brings delight. That goal will never change.
